The tray and lights we use to film all of our dives you see on this site. Custom built aluminium tray with fixed Go Pro mount, two Locline short arm extensions, and two 85 watt HID lights. Total 170 watt HID output.

The original tray seen at the bottom was made from thick plastic, with one handle bar and the lights were much closer to the camera. In the latest version all plastic has been replaced by aluminium and a second handle bar has been added for better stability. Additionally an aluminium bar was added on the top to extend the displacement of the lights.  This not only allows for a much sturdier tray but also removes any back scatter from the video caused by the close proximity of the lights in the initial design.

Shortly a full colour bottom timer (currently being completed) will be added to the rear of the tray. This will allow the underwater video operator to keep track of depth and time at a glance. Thus, keeping track of the dive plan without having to constantly remove one hand from the tray to check the computer.
